Kevin Morby's 'Little Wide Open': A Musical Journey of Reflection and Collaboration

Kevin Morby's upcoming album, "Little Wide Open," was recorded at Aaron Dessner's Long Pond studio in upstate New York. The album, set to be released on May 15 through Dead Oceans, features the lead single "Javelin" and promises a personal and vulnerable musical journey. Morby collaborated with various artists, including Sylvan Esso's Amelia Meath, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, and MUNA's Katie Gavin, among others. The album's themes are inspired by Morby's experiences on the road and his reflections on life and love. Novelist Rachel Kushner also contributes an essay to the album, adding depth to the storytelling. Morby's tour, starting in May and ending in July, will take him across various international locations, showcasing his unique blend of storytelling and musical talent.
