Jack Grealish Faces Court Bill for Traffic Violation: A Premier League Star's Legal Troubles

Premier League footballer Jack Grealish recently faced a £1,000 court bill for driving his £210,000 Lamborghini through a red traffic light in Liverpool. The incident occurred late at night last September, and Grealish was prosecuted by Merseyside Police for failing to disclose the driver's identity. As a result, he received six penalty points on his license and was ordered to pay a fine, costs, and court fees totaling £1,044.

The traffic violation took place just after 11.30pm on September 12, the night before Grealish played for Everton against Aston Villa. Following his record-breaking transfer to Manchester City in 2021, Grealish is currently on loan at Everton. Unfortunately, his 2025/26 season was cut short due to a foot injury that required surgery, as he shared on Instagram.

During a closed-door hearing at Liverpool Magistrates Court, Grealish did not enter a plea in response to the charges brought against him. The court records revealed that his Lamborghini was captured on camera running the red light on Leeds Street/Vauxhall Road in Liverpool. The police sent a letter to Grealish requesting information about the driver of the vehicle on the night of the incident.

In light of the recent legal proceedings and his injury setback, Grealish's season with Everton has come to an unexpected end. Despite the challenges he has faced, Grealish remains committed to his recovery and expressed disappointment over the premature conclusion of his season.
