Box Office Recap: 'Send Help' Reclaims Top Spot, 'Solo Mio' Surprises, and 'Stray Kids: Dominate' Leads Global Sales

The box office had a slow weekend due to the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics, allowing Sam Raimi's horror/thriller "Send Help" to reclaim the top spot with a $10 million second weekend and a total of $35 million. Angel Studios' Kevin James movie "Solo Mio" opened better than expected with $7.2 million, while Markiplier's "Iron Lung" saw a steep decline in its second week with $6 million. K-pop concert movie "Stray Kids: Dominate" made $5.5 million domestically and led the global box office with $19 million. Vertical's "Dracula" had a successful opening despite bad reviews.

Disney's "Zootopia 2" and "Avatar: Fire and Ash" continued to perform well, earning $4 million and $3.5 million respectively. Lionsgate's "The Strangers: Chapter 3" and Jason Statham's "Shelter" struggled at the box office, with the latter making only $2.4 million. The upcoming weekend is expected to be more exciting with the release of "GOAT" and "Withering Heights," both aiming to surpass $30 million at the box office.
