Lynyrd Skynyrd is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their fourth album, Gimme Back My Bullets, by reissuing it on red, yellow, and black multicolor vinyl. The album showcases the band's diverse talents with hits like "Double Trouble" and the title track, as well as folk-rock, blues-rock, and ballad tracks. After parting ways with their longtime producer, Al Kooper, Skynyrd worked with Tom Dowd on the album, allowing them more creative control over the sound. The reissue coincides with the band's appearance in a Budweiser Super Bowl ad featuring their iconic song "Free Bird," celebrating Budweiser's 150th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the United States.
