Jon Ruben Admits to Drugging Wife: Latest Updates on the Case

A man named Jon Ruben, who previously confessed to committing sex crimes against children at a summer camp in Stathern, Leicestershire, has now admitted to drugging his wife. Ruben, aged 76 and from Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, was arrested after several individuals fell ill at Stathern Lodge in July. He pleaded guilty to 17 charges at Leicester Crown Court on 14 November. During a court appearance, the judge noted Ruben's emotional state and mentioned that the sentencing day would likely be even more emotional for him. The court was informed that Ruben confessed to administering a harmful substance with malicious intent between 26 and 29 July.
