Remembering Jim Morrison: A Tribute to a Toronto Maple Leafs Legend

Originally from Montreal, Morrison started his NHL career with the Boston Bruins in 1951 before being traded to the Leafs in 1952 for Fleming Macknell. During his time with the Leafs, Morrison scored 23 goals and contributed 88 assists. He later had stints with the Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, and Pittsburgh Penguins before retiring in 1971. In total, Morrison played 704 NHL games, scoring 47 goals and tallying 191 assists. His son, Dave Morrison, also had a brief NHL career, playing 39 games for the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks.
