Kevin Hart's Parenting Style: Balancing Support and Assertiveness

Kevin Hart opened up about his parenting style on a recent episode of Serena and Venus Williams' podcast Stockton Street. He shared that he believes he is less strict with his children than his late mother, Nancy Hart, was with him. Hart has four children from two different marriages and emphasized that he is assertive in his communication with his kids, even though he doesn't follow the same strict approach his mother had.

Reflecting on his upbringing, Hart mentioned that his mother passed away before he achieved success, but she was a supportive figure in the early stages of his career. He also talked about his late father's absence due to drug addiction. Despite not being a disciplinarian, Hart has seen positive results in his children's actions and growth, especially as his oldest daughter graduated from high school in 2023 and his oldest son is set to graduate in 2026.

While Hart is not keen on hitting the club scene with his kids, he expressed his concerns about being perceived as the "old guy in the club." He prefers to avoid awkward situations where people question his presence at events meant for a younger crowd. Hart values spending quality time with his family and ensuring that he maintains a positive and supportive relationship with his children.
