Peter Gabriel Unveils 'o/i' Album: New Single 'Been Undone' and Artwork Releases
Peter Gabriel has kicked off 2026 with the release of his new single, "Been Undone," which is the first track from his upcoming album, o/i. This album follows his 2023 release, i/o. Gabriel mentioned that some of the songs on this album will be part of a project he has been working on for years, while others simply bring him joy.
To unveil the album gradually, Gabriel plans to release a new song with each full moon of the year, similar to his previous album release strategy. By the end of 2026, the full album, along with Dark-Side and Bright-Side mixes, will be available. The "Been Undone (Dark-Side Remix)" is currently streaming and downloadable on various digital platforms.
In addition to the new music, each song will be accompanied by its own unique artwork. The artwork for "Been Undone," titled Ciclotrama 156 (Palindrome), is created by São Paulo-based artist Janaina Mello Landini. Gabriel expressed his excitement about collaborating with Landini and looks forward to seeing the artwork she will create specifically for the song.
