Island Boy Frank Venegas Arrested in Naples for Fentanyl-Laced Paraphernalia

Frank Venegas, known as one half of the viral "Island Boys" duo, was arrested on New Year's Eve in Naples, Florida, after Collier County deputies found fentanyl-laced paraphernalia during a traffic stop. The stop occurred when a black Mercedes-Benz failed to stop at a crosswalk, and Venegas, the passenger, made suspicious movements prompting a search. Deputies discovered a Chase debit card and a cut straw testing positive for fentanyl, as well as a Zolpidem pill and fentanyl residue in a gray bag in the car.
Venegas, 24, was already out on bond for a prior gun and drug case from February 2025, where he was arrested for possession of oxycodone and an altered firearm. In that case, deputies found oxycodone pills and a handgun spray-painted blue with its serial number removed in a yellow Corvette. Venegas now faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and remains in custody at Collier County Jail, with arraignment scheduled for January 21, 2026.
The rapper, who gained fame in 2021 with the TikTok hit "I'm an Island Boy," has a history of legal issues, including domestic battery and reckless driving charges. His latest arrest adds to his legal troubles, and he is currently detained awaiting further legal proceedings.
