BTS Reunion Album: The Journey to '2026.3.20' and Beyond

BTS, the popular K-pop group, has made a highly anticipated comeback with the announcement of their upcoming reunion album set to release on March 20, 2026. This marks their first full group project since 2022's Proof. The news was shared with the BTS ARMY fan club through handwritten letters bearing the date "2026.3.20." All seven members of BTS, including Jimin, Jung Kook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, and V, are now reunited and gearing up for their next chapter.
The journey to this reunion has been a long one, with each member fulfilling South Korea's mandatory military service requirement at different times. Jin was the first to enlist in December 2022, followed by J-Hope in April 2023, and RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook enlisting together in December 2023. The last members to be discharged were Jimin and Jung Kook on June 11, 2025, just one day after RM and V.
Throughout the process, BTS has been teasing their comeback, with Jung Kook mentioning during a July livestream that the upcoming album will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. RM also shared a message on Weverse in September 2025, expressing his excitement about working on new music with his bandmates in Los Angeles after completing his military service.
In addition to the album announcement, BTS has confirmed plans for a global world tour in 2026. The members expressed their excitement about visiting fans around the world and hinted at the upcoming tour. Stay tuned for more details on the tour cities and dates as they are announced.
