In a conversation with Loudwire, the Mammoth frontman expressed his excitement for Puscifer's "Normal Isn't" and Karnivool's "In Verses." Van Halen praised the songs he has heard from both albums, highlighting his enthusiasm for the new music.

Puscifer's "Normal Isn't" and Karnivool's "In Verses" are set to be released on February 6, 2026. Puscifer has already unveiled two tracks, "Self Evident" and "Pendulum," while Karnivool has released three songs: "Drone," "Aozora," and "Opal." Van Halen has previously expressed his admiration for Maynard James Keenan's work, making the upcoming Puscifer album particularly exciting for him.
