Run Travis Run: Travis Barker's Marathon Journey and Commitment to Wellness

Travis Barker, the renowned drummer of Blink-182 and husband of Kourtney Kardashian, recently shared on social media that his training for the Los Angeles Marathon has been put on hold due to a shinbone injury. Despite this setback, Barker remains positive, noting that using crutches can be a great workout.
The 50-year-old musician had been preparing to participate in his first marathon on March 8, 2026. Barker, who has been a vegan for a long time, has a history of running and even established a club called Run Travis Run in 2024. His passion for running was ignited after surviving a life-threatening plane crash in 2008, which left him with severe burns. Determined to defy the odds, Barker gradually incorporated running into his daily routine, finding solace and joy in the activity.
Barker's running journey culminated in his completion of his first half-marathon in 2023 under the alias Clarence Worley, a character from the film True Romance. Inspired by the iconic line "Run Forrest Run!" from Forrest Gump, Barker launched Run Travis Run in 2024 to promote health and wellness through community events and activities. The organization aims to encourage people to embrace an active lifestyle and participate in 5K runs for fun and fitness.
Through Run Travis Run, Barker seeks to unite individuals and inspire them to prioritize their well-being by engaging in physical activities. Despite his recent injury, Barker's commitment to running and promoting a healthy lifestyle remains unwavering. Join Barker in his mission to encourage others to lead active and fulfilling lives through the joy of running.
