Remembering Emma Elizabeth Biffle: Memorial Service Details and Donation Information

A memorial service has been arranged for 14-year-old Emma Elizabeth Biffle, who tragically passed away in a plane crash along with her father, former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, and two other family members. Emma's memorial is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, at the Cain Center in Cornelius. The services for Greg and his wife, Cristina Grossu Biffle, have not yet been announced, but arrangements are being handled by Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. The crash occurred at Statesville Regional Airport during an emergency landing attempt, resulting in the loss of all seven individuals on board.

The Biffle family has suggested that those who wish to honor Greg and Cristina can donate to the American Red Cross and Lake Norman Humane. For Emma, who had a deep affection for animals, donations can be made to animal shelters, rescue organizations, or the Davidson Day Fund. Online donations are also accepted. Emma, a student at Davidson Day School, is remembered as a bright and caring individual who touched the lives of many with her kindness and love. She is survived by her mother, Nicole Biffle, grandparents, stepfather, stepsiblings, and extended family members.

Emma's obituary describes her as a shining light in the world, known for her outgoing and compassionate nature. She was a good friend to all and deeply cared about others' well-being. Her presence will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her mother, with whom she shared a special bond. Condolences for Emma can be shared on KepnerFH.com.
