Siân Moore: Grassroots North Wales Women’s Footballer of the Year 2025

Siân Moore, a standout player for CPD Pwllheli, has been named the Grassroots North Wales Women’s Footballer of the Year for 2025. The 25-year-old defender turned attacking wide player made a significant impact by scoring two goals in a 4-0 NWCFA Challenge Cup victory over Amlwch Town on October 27, 2024. Following this breakthrough, Siân continued her impressive performance by scoring 20 more goals for Pwllheli, who secured back-to-back North Wales League championships in the 2024-25 season.
Despite Pwllheli facing challenges in the current season, Siân has maintained her goal-scoring form by netting 11 goals in 11 appearances, including 10 goals in seven North Wales Coast League matches. Notably, she achieved her first hat-trick in a 12-0 league win over Amlwch on April 9. Siân's standout moment came when she scored five goals in a single game during a 6-0 victory against Denbigh Town on November 2, potentially setting a new club record for Pwllheli.
In addition to her football prowess, Siân is also an accomplished athlete who ran the London Marathon for charity in 2025 and participates in various running and endurance events. Hailing from a sporting family, Siân's brothers, Chris and Iwan, are well-known local footballers and cricketers on the Llŷn Peninsula.
