Renowned guitarist Mick Abrahams, a founding member of Jethro Tull and the blues rock band Blodwyn Pig, passed away at the age of 82. Martin Barre, who succeeded Abrahams in Jethro Tull, paid tribute to his mentor on social media. Abrahams co-founded Jethro Tull in 1967 and played on their debut album, "This Was," before leaving the band due to musical differences. He then formed Blodwyn Pig, releasing two successful albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Despite health issues that affected his ability to play guitar, Abrahams continued to make music, releasing solo albums and collaborating with other artists. His final solo album, "Revived!," was released in 2015 and featured contributions from Martin Barre. Throughout his career, Abrahams remained dedicated to creating honest music without prejudice.
