Nina Lin Addresses False Twitch Ban Rumors: Clarifies Deactivation and Promises Return
Nina Lin recently addressed rumors circulating online that she had been permanently banned from Twitch, clarifying that the reports are false. She took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of a post claiming she was banned for good and assured her followers that she would be back soon. Currently, Lin's Twitch account appears to be deactivated, with a message stating that the channel is unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
Earlier this month, Lin faced accusations of shoplifting at Target while live-streaming, which led to her initial ban from Twitch. A video clip showed her at a self-checkout counter scanning only one item with a scanner gun, despite having two items in her hand. Lin also made comments during the stream that suggested she had shoplifted items from the store.
In a separate incident in October, Lin and Zoe Spencer were banned from Twitch after a video resurfaced showing Lin holding down an individual while Spencer engaged in inappropriate behavior. Lin later issued an apology for her actions.
Despite these controversies, Nina Lin has denied the recent rumors of a permanent ban from Twitch and assured her followers that she will return to the platform.
