After a chance encounter with the owner of Gado-Gado, Suzanne Roberts, they decided to take the leap and open their boutique in the available storefront. The boutique's name, Rustique by Ashley, was chosen by Ashley's mother and stepfather, combining her rustic style with the boutique shopping experience.
With a background in psychology and event coordination, Ashley's passion for design and creativity led her to open the boutique. Starting initially with furniture flipping during the pandemic, the business quickly evolved to include apparel, accessories, and home décor. The grand opening of the Ellicottville location was well-received, with a steady flow of visitors throughout the day, including locals and out-of-towners.
Rustique by Ashley offers a variety of products, including apparel, accessories, jewelry, home décor, and unique Buffalo and Ellicottville items.
