Indianapolis Colts Activate 21-Day Practice Window for Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. and Safety Daniel Scott

The Indianapolis Colts have initiated the 21-day practice window for quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. and safety Daniel Scott. Both players are now eligible to return from injured reserve within the next three weeks. Richardson suffered a fractured orbital bone during pregame warmups in Week 6 and has since been cleared to resume physical activity. The Colts currently have Philip Rivers, Riley Leonard, and Brett Rypien as active quarterbacks on their roster, with Rivers continuing as the starting quarterback.

Richardson made appearances in the Colts' victories over the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders in Weeks 3 and 5, respectively, before being sidelined due to his injury. He had been serving as Daniel Jones' backup for the initial five games of the season. On the other hand, Scott was placed on injured reserve in Week 5 due to a knee injury after playing the first four games of the season. He had previously spent the entire 2023 and 2024 seasons on injured reserve.

With Richardson and Scott now in the practice window, the Colts are hopeful to have them back on the field in the near future. Their return would provide a boost to the team's depth and contribute to their efforts in the ongoing season.
