With your encouragement, we have secured victories in five out of six home games this season, and your unwavering support is crucial to our success. As we approach the end of the regular season, our focus remains on building a championship team that lives up to your expectations.
Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the field to the development of a new state-of-the-art stadium. Arlington Heights has been identified as the ideal location for this project, offering the necessary infrastructure and resources for a world-class NFL stadium. Despite our willingness to invest over $2 billion in this endeavor, we have encountered challenges in securing the required support from Illinois leaders.
While we have not requested state funding for the stadium, we have sought assurances regarding local infrastructure and property tax considerations to facilitate the financing of the project. Unfortunately, the lack of legislative cooperation has hindered our progress, jeopardizing the potential benefits that the stadium could bring to Illinois, including job creation and economic growth.
In light of these obstacles, we are exploring alternative locations within the Chicagoland region, including Northwest Indiana, to ensure that we can provide our fans with a venue that reflects the excellence of the Chicago Bears organization. Our commitment to the city of Chicago remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to delivering a world-class stadium that aligns with the high standards of our loyal fanbase.
