West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame Inducts Charles 'Eddie' Davisson: A Musical Journey of Joy and Hope

The West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame has recently announced Charles ‘Eddie’ Davisson as a 2026 Performing Artist Inductee. Eddie, a West Virginia native, developed his guitar skills at a young age and pursued a full-time music career, performing extensively in the region. He started his professional journey at just 13 years old with the original Davisson Brothers Band and later fronted the successful Country Rock Trio. Eddie continues to perform over 150 shows a year and collaborates with his sons and grandsons in the Davisson Brothers Band. Their recent album, "Home Is Where the Heart Is," has garnered global success and features contributions from renowned artists.
Eddie expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating that music has always brought happiness to his life. He emphasized the importance of making music that brings joy, comfort, and hope to people. The 2026 West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring Eddie Davisson will be held on April 18, 2026, at the Sagebrush Roundup in Fairmont.
