Subsequently, he was hit by a Ford Escape coming from the opposite direction. A third vehicle, described as a light-colored or white SUV with a female passenger in her 50s or 60s, also hit the man before driving off without stopping. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at the scene, the man succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital in the Muskegon area.
