Goin' Down the Road with Tom Hamilton: A New Grateful Dead Radio Show on SiriusXM
Tom Hamilton has recently joined the SiriusXM Grateful Dead family to host a new monthly radio show called Goin' Down the Road with Tom Hamilton. The show will feature hand-picked songs from the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia, as well as new projects that pay tribute to the band's iconic music. The first episode, airing on December 15, will feature special guest Chris Tomson. Hamilton expressed his excitement about the opportunity to celebrate the Dead and their scene through music and conversation on the show.
Following the debut episode, Hamilton will continue the monthly program in January with another special guest, Don Was, a bassist, producer, and leader of The Pan-Detroit Ensemble, known for his collaboration with Bobby Weir. The show will offer a platform for guests to share stories, song selections, and insights about the band. Additionally, on January 23, Hamilton will release his first album under his own name, titled I'm Your Vampire, co-produced by Alex Farrar.
