Atlanta Braves Sign Closer Robert Suarez to Three-Year, $45 Million Deal
The Atlanta Braves have reached an agreement with former San Diego Padres closer Robert Suarez on a lucrative three-year, $45 million contract. Suarez, who opted out of his previous contract with the Padres, will earn $13 million in 2026 and $16 million in both 2027 and 2028. The deal does not include any deferred payments.
