Netflix's Superhero Movie Farewell: Bid Adieu to Aquaman, Blue Beetle, and More in January 2026
Netflix is set to bid farewell to five superhero movies in January 2026 as it refreshes its catalog with new offerings. Over 100 titles, including popular DC, Marvel, and Millarworld films, will be removed from the streaming platform. Among the superhero movies leaving Netflix next month are Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which failed to match the success of its predecessor at the box office. Blue Beetle, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Hulk, and Kick-Ass 2 are also on the list of departing titles. Other notable movies exiting Netflix include 8 Mile, Doctor Sleep, Hancock, Terminator 2, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
