Guns N' Roses' Latest Releases 'Nothin' and 'Atlas' Make Waves on iTunes Top Songs Chart
December used to be a prime time for major artists to release new albums, but with changes in the music industry, the end of the year is no longer as crucial for album releases. This shift allows artists who do release new music to stand out more. Guns N’ Roses recently released two new songs, “Nothin’” and “Atlas,” which quickly climbed the iTunes Top Songs chart, with “Nothin’” reaching No. 3 and “Atlas” at No. 5.
The new songs from Guns N’ Roses are the only new entries in the top 10 of the iTunes Top Songs chart this week. Other top songs on the chart include hits from artists like Ella Langley, Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, Olivia Dean, and Alex Warren. Despite the quiet release week, a few other tracks, like Zac Brown Band’s “I Ain’t Worried About It” and Poppy’s “Guardian,” managed to crack the top 40.
Guns N’ Roses’ latest releases, “Nothin’” and “Atlas,” are their first since 2023. The band has followed a pattern of releasing two singles a year apart and then taking a break. These new songs were originally written during the making of the band’s album Chinese Democracy, released in 2008. While there have been occasional releases from that album over the years, there is no news of a new album from the band at this time.
