TCab Tech Achieves Milestone with Successful E20 eVTOL Transition Flight Tests

TCab Tech has achieved a significant milestone with the successful completion of transition flight tests for its E20 eVTOL demonstrator. The tests demonstrated stable attitude and precise control during the transition from vertical lift to wing-borne cruise, confirming the aircraft's performance targets and design predictions.
The E20's aerodynamic configuration was validated across the full tilt corridor, and the flight control laws were confirmed to be robust. Key sensors and actuators also performed well under representative thermal and vibration loads. This success marks the E20's transition from technology verification to the engineering development phase (EDP).
TCab Tech's engineering system has proven to be efficient, with the company now leading the way in tilt-rotor eVTOL development. The rapid progression of milestones highlights the viability of TCab's technical route and its commitment to innovation in the industry.
The E20 program follows a systematic approach to envelope expansion, starting from sub-scale demonstrators in 2021 and progressing to the full-scale prototype. This incremental expansion of the flight envelope has allowed for a thorough characterization of the aircraft's performance limits, ensuring a safe and successful transition.
Moving forward, TCab Tech will continue to focus on expanding the flight envelope, certification efforts, and collaboration within the ecosystem. The company remains dedicated to providing safe and efficient Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions to the global market.
