RÜFÜS DU SOL Makes History: Inhale / Exhale World Tour Named Highest-Selling Electronic Tour of All Time

RÜFÜS DU SOL has achieved another milestone with their Inhale / Exhale World Tour being recognized as the highest-selling electronic tour of all time. The Australian trio wrapped up their 2025 Australian tour with three sold-out shows in Sydney, bringing their total headline ticket sales for the year to 750,000 from nearly 50 shows across four continents. Including festival appearances like Lollapalooza in Chicago, RDS has performed for around 1.5 million fans this year, earning them a commemorative plaque from concert promoters Live Nation and Untitled Group.
Untitled Group, the producer of RDS's Australasian leg, reported over 180,000 tickets sold across various cities in Australia and New Zealand, breaking records at venues like Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney and Western Springs in Auckland. The trio, consisting of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and James Hunt, made history as the first electronic act to headline the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. Their success continues into 2026 with headline tours in South America, the U.K., and Europe, including performances at iconic venues like The O2 in London and Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, as well as a headlining slot at the Bonnaroo Festival.
The Inhale / Exhale World Tour supports RDS's fifth studio album released in 2024, which debuted at No. 3 on the ARIA Chart. The band has a track record of success, with all their albums achieving top positions on the charts. With four ARIA Awards and a Grammy Award already under their belt, RDS is poised to add another accolade for best dance/electronic album at the upcoming awards ceremony.
