Netflix has unveiled two new character posters from the upcoming season of Stranger Things, offering a first look at Mr. Whatsit and Max Mayfield. These posters were released following the debut of Volume 1 and ahead of the highly anticipated Volume 2 premiere on December 25.

In Volume 1 of Stranger Things, Henry Creel reappears as Mr. Whatsit, a character who befriends children and leads them into a mysterious mental world called Camazotz. Meanwhile, Max Mayfield plays a crucial role in helping Holly Wheeler within this mental realm, despite her physical body being in a coma.
The first character poster showcases Jamie Campbell Bower as Henry Creel in his Mr. Whatsit persona, while the second poster features Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield. Max's involvement in Henry's mental world is significant, even though her physical state remains unchanged.
The upcoming episode titled "Escape from Camazotz" teases a pivotal moment in the storyline, where Max and the other children trapped in Henry's mental world may find a way to escape.
