Chicago and Styx, two iconic rock bands with roots in Chicago, are teaming up for their first-ever co-headlining tour, named "The Windy Cities Tour – All The Hits…Your Kind of Tour." The tour will span across North America during the summer of 2026. Chicago trumpeter Lee Loughnane expressed excitement about the upcoming tour, highlighting the anticipation of touring with Styx for the first time. Styx singer/guitarist Tommy Shaw shared his enthusiasm for the joint venture, reflecting on his early days as a performer and the influence of mentors who helped shape his musical journey.
The Windy Cities Tour, consisting of 25 dates, will kick off on July 13 at iThink Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach and conclude on Sept. 6 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The tour will include stops in various cities such as Toronto, Houston, Mansfield, MA, Camden, NJ, and Rosemont, IL. Both Chicago and Styx will offer presales for the tour, with Mastercard and Citi presales scheduled for specific dates. General ticket sales will begin on Friday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. local time.
