Tragic Disappearance of Rebecca Park: Unraveling the Mystery

A tragic incident unfolded in northern Michigan as a pregnant woman, Rebecca Park, went missing just days before her due date. The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office reported that Park, 22, was last seen near a relative’s home on Nov. 3. Her body was discovered in the Manistee National Forest on Nov. 25, and her identity was confirmed after an autopsy. Authorities arrested her fiancé, Richard Lee Falor, and her sister, Kimberly Park, in connection with the case.

While the details of the autopsy are limited, reports indicate that Park was not pregnant when her body was found. Falor had previously mentioned that they had visited the hospital on Nov. 2, suspecting Park was in labor. However, she was only 1 centimeter dilated at the time, with her due date set for Nov. 18. Park was last seen being picked up in a black sedan with tinted windows from her biological mother’s house.

Kimberly Park is currently held on a $750,000 bond at the Wexford County Jail, while Falor faces a steep $1 million bond. Falor, a repeat offender with prior felony charges, is accused of delivering methamphetamine and could face a life sentence. Kimberly Park is charged with tampering with evidence, lying to law enforcement, and filing a false felony report. Both individuals were deemed flight risks by the court.
