This custom watch features Elvis Presley's name in raised lettering around the bezel and is adorned with four stars, a signature design element of these personalized timepieces. It is estimated to sell for $4,000 - $6,000.
Elvis had a close relationship with his jeweler, Harry Levitch, dating back to his childhood when Levitch provided shoes to an underprivileged friend of Elvis. As Elvis rose to fame, he commissioned numerous pieces of jewelry from Levitch, including tie pins, bracelets, and the famous 3.5-carat diamond engagement ring for Priscilla Presley. The auction also includes a letter from Levitch to Elvis expressing gratitude for their friendship and business relationship. The sale at Bonhams will feature other notable watches, such as a Patek Philippe World Time watch in rose gold and a collection of over 30 Omega timepieces, including rare Speedmasters.
