Four Seasons in Java: Forka Films' Latest Production Consortium Unveiled
Forka Films, an Indonesian production company, has announced a production consortium for Kamila Andini's upcoming film "Four Seasons in Java," set to be released in 2026. The cast includes Putri Marino, Arya Saloka, Christine Hakim, and Hana Pitrashata Malasan. The project received awards at the Tokyo Gap-Financing Market and Venice Gap-Financing Market, with international co-production partners from eight territories. The film follows the story of Pertiwi, a woman returning to her village after a long absence. Forka Films, formerly known as Fourcolours Films, has a history of successful film productions, including "Siti," "Yuni," and "Before, Now & Then." Their most recent project, the Netflix miniseries "Cigarette Girl," won best mini-series at the 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards.
