UFC 324: Gaethje vs. Pimblett - Championship Showdowns on Paramount+

The UFC is set to make its debut on Paramount+ with UFC 324, featuring two championship fights. The event, scheduled for Jan. 24 in Las Vegas, will showcase an interim lightweight title bout between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett, as well as women's bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison defending her title against Amanda Nunes. UFC CEO Dana White announced the stacked card during a halftime segment of an NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys.
The decision to create an interim lightweight title has raised eyebrows, especially since undisputed champion Ilia Topuria is not injured. Gaethje, a former interim lightweight champion, will face Pimblett, a rising star from Liverpool, England, for the interim gold. The winner of this fight will have the opportunity to challenge Topuria for the undisputed championship later in 2026.
In the women's bantamweight division, the highly anticipated showdown between Harrison and Nunes has been years in the making. Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, claimed the title by defeating Julianna Peña. Nunes, a women's MMA legend and former two-weight champion, announced her return from retirement and aims to reclaim her championship status.
The event will also feature other exciting matchups, with more fights expected to be announced in the coming weeks. UFC 324 will be available for streaming on Paramount+ with the main card starting at 9 p.m. ET, an hour earlier than usual. All fights, including the prelims and early prelims, will be broadcast on Paramount+ at no extra cost to subscribers, marking the end of the pay-per-view era for UFC fans.
Tickets for UFC 324: Gaethje vs. Pimblett will go on sale on Dec. 12 at AXS.com. Don't miss this historic event as the UFC makes its debut on Paramount+ with a night of thrilling fights and championship showdowns.
