Rave On: A Techno Music Drama Immersing Audiences in Berlin's Vibrant Nightlife
Rave On, a techno music drama directed by Nikias Chryssos and Viktor Jakovleski, has secured distribution deals with Njutafilms for Scandinavia, Unlimited Media for the Baltics, and KyivMusicFilm for Ukraine through The Playmaker Munich. The film, which captures the essence of the Berlin techno scene, follows the journey of Kosmo, a DJ and techno producer striving to revive his career amidst a new wave of talent. Featuring a blend of fictional storytelling and documentary-style footage shot at real techno parties, Rave On stars Clemens Schick and Aaron Altaras, alongside renowned DJs like Hieroglyphic Being and Lucia Lu. The soundtrack, composed by Ed Davenport, John Gürtler, and other Berlin-based techno artists, includes both original tracks and club classics. Produced by Telos Pictures in collaboration with Hessischer Rundfunk/ARTE, Rave On has received support from BKM, HessenFilm, and DFFF. With its immersive portrayal of Berlin's techno culture, the film promises to offer audiences a mesmerizing glimpse into the city's vibrant nightlife.
