Mother Sentenced to Life in Prison for Murder of Children: The Tragic Case of Hakyung Lee
A woman has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her two children, Yuna and Minu Jo. The bodies of the children were found in suitcases almost four years after their deaths. Hakyung Lee, the mother, was convicted of the murders and received a minimum non-parole period of 17 years. The tragic incident unfolded after the death of her husband Ian Jo from cancer in 2017.
