Megadeth Farewell Tour: Canadian Dates Announced with Anthrax and Exodus as Supporting Acts

Megadeth has revealed the initial Canadian dates for their upcoming farewell world tour, with the thrash legends set to kick off their journey in Victoria, British Columbia, on February 15 and conclude in Quebec City on March 6. Anthrax and Exodus will join them as supporting acts. Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the public this Friday. The band is also gearing up for the release of their final self-titled album on January 23, featuring tracks like "Tipping Point" and "I Don't Care," as well as a cover of Metallica's "Ride the Lightning," which Dave Mustaine cowrote during his time with the band. Mustaine emphasized the importance of respect in the creation of the album. Megadeth's farewell tour will span several years, with dates announced in Canada, Mexico, and South America, as well as opening for Iron Maiden and making appearances at various festivals. Mustaine hinted at the possibility of touring for another three to five years, expressing his commitment to the band's future endeavors. The Canadian leg of the tour includes stops in cities like Abbotsford, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa, Halifax, Moncton, and Quebec City.
