Arrest Made in Shooting Incident at Columbia Planned Parenthood Clinic: Latest Updates

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident outside the Planned Parenthood clinic in Columbia, South Carolina. Mark Baumgartner, the executive director of anti-abortion group A Moment of Hope, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime. The Columbia Police Department confirmed Baumgartner's arrest.
The incident, which occurred on November 14, was captured on video by a witness and shared with WIS. The footage shows Baumgartner and another man involved in a confrontation outside the clinic. Baumgartner sprayed the other man with what appeared to be mace or pepper spray before a physical altercation ensued, leading to a gunshot being fired.
