Formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, Guns N’ Roses quickly rose to fame after signing with Geffen Records in 1986 and releasing their debut album “Appetite for Destruction” in 1987. The album, which included hits like “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” sold over 18 million copies. Subsequent releases like “G N’ R Lies” and the “Use Your Illusion” albums solidified the band’s status as one of the biggest rock acts in the world.
Over the years, Guns N’ Roses underwent several lineup changes, with lead singer Axl Rose being the only original member left. In 2016, the classic lineup reunited with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan joining Rose for a highly successful tour that grossed over $584 million. The band has since continued to tour and released new music, including the upcoming songs “Nothin” and “Atlas.”
The upcoming tour will mark Guns N’ Roses’ fourth tour since the reunion and will feature their new drummer Isaac Carpenter. Fans can expect a high-energy performance from the legendary rock band as they take the stage at the Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee.
