Chicago Bears Injury Updates and Roster Changes for Week 15 Matchup Against Pittsburgh Steelers

The Chicago Bears have officially announced that linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and running back Roschon Johnson have been placed on injured reserve due to a groin injury and a thumb injury, respectively. Edmunds has been having a standout season with impressive stats, while Johnson has mainly contributed on special teams. The earliest they could return is Week 16. In their places, linebacker Carl Jones Jr. and running back Brittain Brown have been signed from the practice squad. The Bears have also elevated tight end Nikola Kalinic and offensive lineman Jordan McFadden for the upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as starting left tackle Theo Benedet is dealing with a quad injury.
On the Steelers' side, defensive tackle Cam Heyward and cornerback Darius Slay have been upgraded from questionable to expected to play. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains questionable with a broken left wrist. Cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon for the Bears are not expected to be activated for the upcoming game but are hopeful for the Black Friday game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
