Lyons acknowledged that being the oldest and only openly gay woman on the show presented an opportunity for a new dynamic to emerge. She tagged her former co-stars in her post, expressing her respect and gratitude for the entire Bravo team, Andy Cohen, Sezin, and Shed Productions. Lyons also thanked the fans for their support and interaction, emphasizing the meaningfulness of their engagement.
Despite her decision to leave the show, Lyons mentioned that she would continue to watch and share her opinions from the sidelines. Throughout her time on the program, she filmed with her son, Beckett Mazeau, but kept her love life private. Lyons confirmed her engagement to photographer Cass Bird in October 2024.
