Michigan High School Football Undefeated Teams: Road to Perfection
The Michigan High School Athletic Association football season is reaching its climax as teams are one game away from competing at Ford Field. The state semifinals for 11-player divisions are underway, while 8-player teams are gearing up for their state championship games this weekend. Currently, there are 12 undefeated teams in 11-player football and three in 8-player football.
In Division 1-8 of 11-player football, teams like Detroit Cass Tech, Detroit Catholic Central, Portage Central, DeWitt, Mount Pleasant, Goodrich, Almont, Kent City, Menominee, Pewamo-Westphalia, Harbor Beach, Hudson, Martin, Felch North Dickinson, and Portland St. Patrick are all vying for perfection in their respective matchups.
Detroit Cass Tech recently triumphed over Saline and is set to face Rochester Adams next. Detroit Catholic Central dominated Clarkston and will now take on East Kentwood. Portage Central secured a victory against Traverse City Central and is preparing to battle Orchard Lake St. Mary’s. DeWitt, Mount Pleasant, Goodrich, Almont, Kent City, Menominee, Pewamo-Westphalia, Harbor Beach, Hudson, Martin, Felch North Dickinson, and Portland St. Patrick are also gearing up for their upcoming matchups.
