From Vestal to Nashville: The Musical Journey of Bassist Ryan Jackson
A talented Vestal native recently showcased his musical skills on a prominent country music platform. Bassist Ryan Jackson had the opportunity to perform with country music artist Ella Langley at the Country Music Awards. Jackson, who relocated from Vestal to Nashville to pursue his music career, joined Langley's band as their bassist after connecting with her when she released her music. He attributes much of his musical abilities to the teachers he had in Vestal, such as guitar instructor Paul Knapick and drum teacher Chris Adams.
Reflecting on his journey, Jackson emphasized the importance of perseverance and encouraged aspiring musicians to never give up on their dreams. His experience at the Country Music Awards was a testament to his dedication and passion for music.
