Top of the Rock: Leslie Bibb Takes the Lead in Cold War Crime Series
Leslie Bibb has landed a leading role in the upcoming six-part Cold War crime series, Top of the Rock, following her appearance in The White Lotus. She will portray Captain Diane Goodman in the Icelandic noir, set in 1983 during the height of Cold War tensions. The series revolves around U.S. military police investigator Captain Goodman and MP Sarah Ellis stationed at the NATO base in Keflavik, Iceland. When an American soldier is found dead under suspicious circumstances, the two women must collaborate with the Icelandic police to unravel a complex web of espionage and political intrigue. Created by Davíð Óskar Ólafsson and Jón Atli Jónasson, Top of the Rock promises to deliver a gripping narrative set against the backdrop of international conflict.
The drama series, produced by Truenorth, Mystery Productions, and Vertu, is helmed by a talented team of creators and writers including Ragnar Jónsson, Óttar M. Norðfjörð, and Jónasson.
