Stranger Things 5: One Last Ride - A Nostalgic Street Takeover in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is gearing up for a nostalgic street takeover inspired by the popular show "Stranger Things." Netflix is partnering with CicLAvia for an event called Stranger Things 5: One Last Ride, taking place on a car-free stretch of Melrose Avenue on Sunday, Nov. 23. The event will feature an immersive experience with activities for biking, skating, and walking along a four-mile route between Vermont Avenue and Fairfax Avenue. Participants can expect a Hawkins-themed corridor with photo opportunities, live entertainment, merchandise, and giveaways. The event will also include an exclusive content drop related to the upcoming season of "Stranger Things," premiering on Netflix on Nov. 26.

Attendees are encouraged to embrace the '80s theme by dressing up as their favorite characters or in retro outfits. A quest along the route will allow participants to collect pins by completing mapped activities to unlock surprises. The event is free, open to the public, and does not require an RSVP. Giveaways will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Bikes, skateboards, roller skates, sneakers, and strollers are all welcome at the event. For more information, visit the official event website.
