Chino Hills Home Fire: Nine Hospitalized After Potential Gas Leak Incident
A fire broke out in a Chino Hills home on Sunday, resulting in nine people being hospitalized due to a potential gas leak, as reported by San Bernardino County authorities. The incident occurred on Sierra Vista Drive around 5 p.m., prompting the response of firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department and SoCal Edison personnel. The individuals injured in the fire were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. All of the victims were inside the affected home at the time of the incident. As a precautionary measure, the area from Sierra Vista to Del Norte Ave. was evacuated until authorities could confirm the safety of the surroundings. Surrounding homes also sustained damage as a result of the fire.
