SPQR: Steve Hogarth and RanestRane Live Album Collaboration

Marillion frontman Steve Hogarth is set to release a live album titled SPQR in collaboration with Italian prog rock band RanestRane. The album, available on CD, Blu-ray, and vinyl, features a live performance of Hogarth's cover of Leonard Cohen's Famous Blue Raincoat. Recorded at the Sala Sinopoli in Rome in February 2024, the album includes Marillion classics like Easter, Afraid Of Sunlight, and Cover My Eyes (Pain And Heaven), as well as cover songs such as The Beatles' All You Need Is Love. Hogarth and RanestRane were also joined by the Flowing Chords choir for the performance.

The collaboration between Hogarth and RanestRane aims to recreate the chemistry they had during a previous show in Rome in September 2015. The album SPQR will be released in various formats, including a 2 CD and Blu-ray set, Black 3LP gatefold vinyl, and digital release.
