Broadway icon Elizabeth Franz has passed away at the age of 84. Her husband, Christopher Pelham, revealed that she succumbed to cancer and had a severe reaction to the treatment drugs. She breathed her last on November 4 at her residence in Woodbury, Connecticut. Franz was renowned for her portrayal of Linda Loman in the 1999 Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman," which earned her a Tony Award. She also received Tony nominations for her roles in "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and "Morning's at Seven." With a background in theater and training from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Franz showcased her talent on both stage and screen, appearing in films like "The Secret of My Success," "School Ties," and "Sabrina." She also made guest appearances on popular TV shows such as "Gilmore Girls," "Law & Order: SVU," and "Grey's Anatomy." Elizabeth Franz is survived by her husband and brother. May she rest in peace.
