Join the NHL's 'Learn to Play' Program at Utica University's Nexus Center!
Utica University's Nexus Center has teamed up with the NHL to offer the "Learn to Play" program, where young hockey players come together at the Nexus Center every Monday and Wednesday. The program includes coaching sessions led by Rob Esche, owner of the Utica Comets, and other Comets staff and players who share their hockey knowledge with the kids. Adam Pawlick, vice president of the Utica Comets, expressed his joy in seeing the kids enjoy playing the game and the positive impact it has on everyone involved. The NHL has seen a significant 35% increase in youth hockey participation since the program's inception. Registration for the upcoming session starting on Jan. 5 is now open.
