Childersburg Parks and Recreation Youth Basketball and Cheer Registration Information

Childersburg Parks and Recreation is currently open for registrations for youth basketball and basketball cheer until Friday, Nov. 14. The basketball program is designed for kids aged six to fourteen, while basketball cheer is available for children aged five to twelve. The registration fee is $60 for basketball and $50 for cheer if the child already has a uniform. For cheer participants needing a uniform, the fee is $100. Children residing within the Childersburg Housing Authority are eligible for half-price registration but must register in person and provide proof of residency. Registration can be done online at childersburg.recdesk.com or in person at the rec center on 300 First St. SE. Payment options include cash, check, credit, and debit cards. Phone or text registrations will not be accepted.

Tryouts for children aged six to eight will take place on Monday, Nov. 17 at 6:00 p.m., while tryouts for ages nine to twelve are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 6:00 p.m. Coaching applications can also be accessed online.
