Rowan Atkinson is back with a new installment in his popular Man Vs series, following the success of Man Vs Bee. Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming series, Man Vs Baby, which will consist of four half-hour episodes and is scheduled to debut on December 11, just in time for the holiday season. In this new chapter, Atkinson's character must navigate the challenges of caring for a toddler who unexpectedly enters his life during the festive period.
The official synopsis from Netflix sets the stage for the series, as Trevor Bingley (played by Rowan Atkinson) transitions from a disastrous house-sitting job to a quieter role as a school caretaker. However, a tempting offer to look after a luxury penthouse in London over Christmas leads to unforeseen circumstances when Trevor is left with a baby from the school nativity play. With a penthouse to safeguard and a baby to care for, Trevor faces the dilemma of maintaining a peaceful Christmas or dealing with potential chaos.
Joining Atkinson in the cast are Alanah Bloor as Maddy, Oriel Bathurst in a significant role, Ashley Jensen as Janet, Sunetra Sarker as Georgia Hakopian, and Claudie Blakley as Jess. The series is created by Rowan Atkinson and Will Davies, with Chris Clark and Davies serving as executive producers, Kate Fasulo as the series producer, and David Kerr as the director of the new episodes.
